Wall Decor Burni Diya Lantern

BURNI

Burni means a jar said in the northwestern states of Bharat (INDIA). 

Generally, it is used to store pickles, dry fruits, sweets, and other food ingredients. The Burni is traditionally made of ceramic clay, brass, and copper but with time journey artisans made this pot in steel and in other metals.

Burni Shaped Lantern Pot

Inspired by the shape of Burni our artisans created this perforated iron lantern. This beautiful lantern is made of the wrought iron sheet by the local artisan. In polish, there is a combination of three colors -black, golden, and copper. 

ANKUD

In the tribal region of Rajasthan, the word 'Ankud' means Hook. Inspired by Ankud our artisans created this wall hanger which is used to hang Lantern, hanging Diya, platform clock, bell, or any decorative hangings.

This antique golden finished Ankud is made of wrought iron with a combination of metallic black, copper, and brass color polish. There are two small-sized brass bells that add extra beauty to this craft.

The presence of this Ankud makes this craft a wall decor unit. 

Wall Mount Burni Lantern

With a complete combination of Burni Pot lantern and Ankud Hanger, we launched this beautiful craft as a wall decor unit. With the help of Ankud hanger and brass chain, we can place this lantern on the wall.  

It creates a reflection of Diya's light on the wall surface from the perforated cut artwork of the pot. We can use this wall decor unit as a home wall decor, pooja room decor, balcony wall decor, outdoor wall decor, and also for gifting or decor on festivals and other holy occasions.

Handcrafted in Rajasthan

This is handcrafted by the local tribal artisans of the west region of Rajasthan. This craft is made out of the wrought iron sheet with a combination of metallic black, golden, and copper polish. With the fusion of these three color coatings, our artisans add a little vintage and heritage finish to this.

Care & Handling Instruction.

Please do not use water or any chemical-based cleaner to clean the Ankud-Hanger. We can use any dry cotton cloth to clean the area of the hanger. By using wax polish on the outer area we can add a little glossy shine to this.
