This idol is crafted on the concept of Sanatan Mythologies, lets have a look few interesting points in the below chart.
Ganapati
Ganapati and Ganesha mean - People's Leader. Lord Ganesha's Head represents the Supreme Wisdom which a wise man should always possess because Ganesha is a Symbol of a Perfect Wise man which inspires us to become a Vighnaharta (Problem Solver).
The concept behind Four Hands Ganesha
Two Skills does a Leader should possess to solve problems is shown on the Upper two hand's Symbols by an Axe and Rope. And there are the unique two qualities of an Intelligent wise Leader which makes him a leader is shown on the bottom Two Hand's Symbols.
ANKUSH
Lord Ganesha is depicted with an Ankush, in one of his hands. Sometimes people confuse it to be a weapon-Axe.
Traditionally Ankush is used to control elephants in India. Symbolically, Ankush is used by Lord Ganesha to drive mankind forward on the path of self-realization.
It symbolizes the need for the control of the elephant size desires which runs amok and ruins the life of a human being. When desires are not controlled it is like an elephant running amok – destroying everything on the path to fulfill the desire.
It reminds a person of the need to keep the mind in control. The unwanted thoughts that arise in the mind should be controlled by a person just like an Ankush controlling the elephant.
PAASH
Paash means a Rope which is a symbol of 'Sanyama' means control. The second hand of Lord Ganesha holding a Rope represents the Sanyama (control) on every availability which you have in your life.
Sweets
The third hand of Lord Ganesha holding Sweets represents the achievement, the experience of happiness in your life. You will experience the sweetness of being happy in any situation.
Abhayamudrā Or Abhaya-Hasta
The Abhayamudrā is the gesture of reassurance and safety, which dispels fear and accords divine protection and bliss. It also represents protection, peace, benevolence.
Lotus
In some images and sculptures, this mudra is depicted with the Lotus flower.
A lotus by nature grows in water but is never touched by it, similarly, you exist in the world and like a lotus never touches the water it lives in, the changing world does not affect you, because you are constantly attached to your consciousness.
Left Trunk:
This is the most popular side for the trunk to be. Most householders always buy an idol with a trunk to the left. The trunk curving to the left is called a Vamamukhi (Facing the Northern direction). The left side of Lord Ganesha is believed to be aligned with and possess the qualities of the Moon, which makes that side peaceful and blissful. Also, that side signifies material gains and prosperity and thus, householders always prefer the left-trunk idol as it is believed to bring them prosperity. Left trunk Ganeshas are also believed the purify home and help in healing the Vaastu Dosha that might be present. Also, if you see a picture of Lord Ganesha with Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, it is seen that Parvati sits to the left. So, the left-sided trunk pays obeisance to Goddess Parvati and invokes her blessings in the home. It brings about family bonding and happiness.
