Panjarika-Golden Cage Lantern for Flowers and Diya Decor

Story behind PANJARIKA:

 This craft is designed in memory of 'Charpat-Panjarika-Stotram' composed by Aadi Guru Shri Shankaracharya- an Advait philosopher who is often considered as a savior of Sanatan Dharma when it was at its darkest phase. 

In Charpat-Panjarika-Stotram, Word Charpat means rags and Panjarika means a cage. In this stotra, the sense is that we are clothing ourselves in valueless and tattered rags, we are binding ourselves in a cage.

Sadhubela's Handmade PANJARIKA: 

Inspired by the message and concepts of Charpat Panjarika, we designed our craft- PANJARIKA.  In a shape, this is the same as a cage but with positive uses like flower decoration, Diya lantern. 

We used two materials to make this craft are wrought iron and brass with an antique finish. 

We can use this craft as a home decor unit that always spreads positive vibes. 

Deepam- a Symbol of Holy Soul

As in this picture, we can use this craft as a decorative lantern by lighting Diya or the candle.  

Here this golden cage represents our body and the light of Diya represents our holy soul. This craft will spread positive vibes in your room. This is a symbol of spiritual quietness.

Flower/Planter Decor Craft

As in this picture, we can use artificial or natural flowers with the cage. We can use this craft as a flower decor unit in your house,  or balcony. 

Instead of Artificial or natural flowers, we can also use small and lightweight indoor planters like Golden Pathos, Moh Orchid, etc. 

ANKUD

In the tribal region of Rajasthan, the word 'Ankud' means Hook. Inspired by Ankud our artisans created this wall hanger which is used to hang Lantern, hanging Diya, platform clock, bell, or any decorative hangings.

This antique golden finished Ankud is made of wrought iron with a combination of metallic black, copper, and brass color polish.

The presence of this Ankud makes this craft a wall decor unit. 

Handcrafted in Rajasthan.

This is handcrafted by the local artisans of the west region of Rajasthan and Jalesar village of Uttar Pradesh State.

With the fusion of black color coatings, our artisans add a little vintage and heritage finish to this.

Care & Handling Instruction.

For Ankud- Hanger, Panjarika:

Please do not use water or any chemical-based cleaner to clean the Ankud-Hanger. We can use any dry cotton cloth to clean the area of the hanger. By using wax polish on the outer area we can add a little glossy shine to this. 

For Brass Bells, Ghunghroo, Diya:

Generally, we processed all brass craft with an antique finish with a minimal glossy shine and coating. if you want a little more shine on brass craft ornaments, you can use natural Tamarind, a Brasso liquid, or any Brass Metal Cleaner like Pitambari.

Panjarika: The name Panjarika and Pinjar means a cage which generally use to imprison the bird or any other animal. But here imprisonment is not our objective for this craft and we never design any craft to imprison birds or other innocent animals. This cage is designed only for home decor purposes with a spiritual touch.
