Panchmukhi Diya Lamp - Panchmukhi is a Sanskrit word that means five-faced. A Panchmukhi Diya Lamp which is a primary part of this craft is made out of brass material. In this lamp, there are five faces to produce lights.

This is an oil-based lamp used to produce light continuously for a period of time using an oil-based fuel source. The use of oil lamps began thousands of years ago and continues to this day, although their use is less common in modern times. 

Deep Prajwalan

A Diya is placed in a spiritual place or in the festival as a symbol of the Supreme Brahma (God). In Bharat (India), almost every household has a custom of lighting a Deepam or Diya twice a day — in the morning and evening. This is a part of our prayer.

All good ceremonies, daily worship rituals, auspicious functions, religious occasions as well as new ventures start with the lightning of the lamp. Diya is essential in Sanatana Dharma because it signifies purity, goodness, good luck, and power.

The presence of light means the non-existence of darkness and evil forces.

Ankud

In the tribal region of Rajasthan, the word 'Ankud' means Hook. Inspired by Ankud our artisans created this wall hanger which is used to hang Lantern, hanging Diya, platform clock, bell, or any decorative hangings.

This antique golden finished Ankud is made of wrought iron with a combination of metallic black, copper, and brass color polish.

The presence of this Ankud makes this craft a wall decor unit.

Wall Decor Diya Lamp

In this wall decor craft, there are two major parts -a Panchmukhi Diya Lamp and second is a wall mount Ankud-Hanger.  We design this craft with a fusion of brass and iron crafts. In this combination, an oil lamp, chain, and small bells are made from brass and a wall hanger is from wrought iron with antique golden chrome polish.

We can use this beautiful lamp as a wall decor piece in your pooja room, balcony, or also as a festival decor or gifting.

This is handcrafted by the local artisans of the west region of Rajasthan and Moradabad city of Uttar Pradesh State.

With the fusion of black color coatings, our artisans add a little vintage and heritage finish to this.

Care & Handling Instruction.

For Ankud- Hanger: Please do not use water or any chemical-based cleaner to clean the Ankud-Hanger. We can use any dry cotton cloth to clean the area of the hanger. By using wax polish on the outer area we can add a little glossy shine to this. 

For Brass Diya, Bells and Chain: Generally, we processed all brass craft with an antique finish with a minimal glossy shine. if you want a little more shine on brass bell and chain, you can use natural Tamarind, a Brasso liquid, or any Brass Metal Cleaner like Pitambari.
